The incredible landscape features wonderful natural places to see such as Gullfoss Waterfalls, the hot springs, Blue Lagoon geothermal baths and huge glaciers. Enjoy a tour of the natural features and combine an activity such as snow mobile or dog sledding.

Evening Entertainment:
It is advisable to travel at weekends if your are in search of the legendry Icelandic nightlife, as the city centre can be very quiet midweek.
The city centre is compact and bars, restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance. Reykjavik is a late starter with the locals coming out to play about 10.30pm.
Accommodation:
Reykjavik offers a cross section of basic comfortable 2 star hotels, contemporary funky boutique and traditional 4 star hotels. Cinnamon active use hotels in the city centre within easy walking distance of the bars, restaurants and nightlife.

Activity Options:
Super Truck Tour
If you are coming for the weekend, then this is great way to see the major sights from comfortable oversized 4x4 vehicles, built to cross snow swept landscape. The tour takes in Gullfoss Waterfalls, hot geysirs and glaciers where you can combine the tour with snowmobiling, dog sledding or white water rafting.
Dog Sledding (Sept – January)
Mush, mush, travel the Inuit way. Become acquainted with the wolf-like but sweet natured Greenland dog on our dog sledding trips. Travel over the Langjökull glacier with an unbelievable view over Borgarfjordur on a bright day.
White Water Rafting (May – October)
The Hvita is one of the top river rafting venues in Iceland and has excellent water levels as it is fuelled from the glaciers via the Gullfoss waterfall. Enjoy a heart-pumping ride down the glacial waters of Hvita along stretches of open countryside and impressive gorges. The river meets everyone's abilities: grade 2/3 rapids the river runs for 6 kilometres and takes approximately 1 hour to descend.
Whale Watching (April – September)
Few creatures have captured man's imagination as much as the Great Whale, the largest creature on Earth. Today these fascinating animals can once again be enjoyed in their natural habitat, and nowhere better to do so than among the waters of the North Atlantic, home of some of the world's largest stocks of dolphins, porpoises, humpack, blue, minke and killer whales.
Horse Riding & Blue Lagoon
An adventurous ride into the lava fields surrounding Mt. Helgafell volcano, or to Lake Hvaleyrarvatn and along green hillsides and mountains.
A ride of 1˝ hours is followed by lunch at Jósalir Restaurant at the Riding Centre (soup, salad bar and a hot dish), along with Icelandic "Brennivín" (Black Death) and coffee. After lunch a drive to the fabulous Blue Lagoon where we stay for approx. 1˝ hours and enjoy a swim in the mineral-rich geothermal heated water.
Northern Lights Hunt (Oct-Mar)
A unique trip in search of the mysterious Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
Leaving the bright lights of Reykjavik, in the comfort of the Superjeeps, you head south into the darkness where the opportunity of viewing the amazing phenomena awaits.

The Viking Feast
This is a little tourist type attraction with waiters dressed in Viking costumes, long tables and music. The food is local fare and served on plastic trays. But Hey you meet real Vikings……nearly!
On the outskirts of the city centre there are two excellent and impressive restaurants with stunning views of the city and coastline if you seek a more sophisticated evening.

Flight time is 3 hours. Iceland is well served by 3 airlines
Private transfers are arranged from Keflik airport to your hotel. Transfer time is approx 30 minutes.
